A skull and.. a Painting?

Finally relearning how to use Maya efficiently.

I made a skull.

And a recent painting concept which I made.

Hating Maya: Progress update in 3DS Max.

After spending about an hour trying to figure out Maya again.. I gave up, and decided to post an update on my blog. I'll be working in Maya again when I am not frustrated.

A Rifle Magazine. The rest of the model is WIP.

Trashcans. One on the left is still WIP (Work in Progress)

Progress update: the blade now has a fuller, and the back of the handle has been chamfered for a smoother grip.

Progress: Modelling a future knife

Setting the knife to be a cross between modern and futuristic design. Still in progress! (spent more time trying to troubleshoot than modelling it though, lol.)

Have to figure out how to discern the sharpened edge from the body.

Edit: in terms of function, its supposed to be able to punch through armor (with enough force).

An unserious painting practice.

Something I've done for painting/rendering practice. This one I made in about 20 or so minutes without really taking perspective into account. obviously going to have a ton of errors when it comes to the positioning of some things.

Something i've done for perspective about 2 weeks back. Nothing that amazing yet, sadly. 

And my 1st perspective, week 1. 

Composition - At the beginning

Something i've done for composition. You can see the though process before you look at the main image. Though, does anyone else think the river wall looks.. off? :/
